GOLF TOURNAMENT UPDATE August 20, 2020
The Heritage Community Foundation has regrettably decided to cancel the 2020 Golf Tournament. Our objective is to give you a premium experience at the annual event. We felt that this would not be possible due to imposed COVID-19 restrictions at the Sun City Peachtree Golf Club. The restrictions are beyond the control of the golf course, but the result is we would not be able to connect and enjoy each other’s company in the manner you are accustomed to per previous tournaments.
The annual tournament is a major portion of our annual fundraising efforts. We are planning a Clay Shoot in October and would like you to consider participating in this event. We will of course resume our annual golf tournament in 2021.
Regardless of the impact COVID-19 has had to our communities, we have still been accomplishing the Heritage Foundation Mission. This year, thanks to donor support, we have fed the needy; clothed the poor; provided medical supplies to the impoverished; enabled college students to graduate; and ensured disabled children have the equipment necessary to educate them. Before this year ends, we shall have even greater impact in the community. Thank you for your understanding and continued support
